COVID-19 Update for Clients
Instructions for In-Clinic Appointments
As we introduce select in clinic visits at Kids Clinic, we are taking numerous precautions
to ensure our environment remains low risk to both our clients and our staff. This is our
number one priority.
The below process will be enforced for clients visiting the clinic. Please adhere to these
Only one escort per patient is permitted to attend in-person appointments. If
other parents/guardians want to be involved in the appointment they can do so
by telephone or virtual platform. Patients over the age of 18 are encouraged to
attend alone. Please do not bring other children to the clinic.
You will receive a COVID-19 screening questionnaire by email prior to your
appointment from a platform called “Ocean”. Please ensure that as you
complete the screening questionnaire you are considering the answers for both
the patient and the parent/guardian who will attend the appointment with the
patient. If this screening questionnaire is not completed prior to the
appointment you will be asked to complete the screening before entering the
facility.If you are feeling unwell at all or have been in contact with anyone
unwell or suspected of having COVID-19 please do not visit the clinic. There will
be no penalties for late cancellation due to illness.
It will be mandatory for all visitors to wear their own mask when attending
appointments, and to sanitize their hands upon arrival before entering the clinic.
In certain situations temperature screening may be conducted.
